Abstract
Koreans go to the church and they stay with their own people and insists that most bicultural churches have been unsuccessful. The homogeneous-unit principle is based on cultural integrity rather than cultural diversity. The main concern of this project is to propose that the church should respond to the changing world, which is being transformed from a society dominated by Western culture to a multicultural village, where all peoples in different cultures live together. The Bible indicates that heterogeneity of the church is the God's purpose. The ultimate mission of the church is human reconciliation, not numerical growth. Therefore, the church must go beyond cultural, racial and social barriers, and learn to live and worship with one another as peoples of God.
